In the 1950s, Grandpa Merle Pritts began crafting homemade candies in his kitchen, creating sweet treats for holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, and just about any occasion that called for something special. And let's be honest... isn't that just about every occasion?
Those recipes became part of our family's memories, shared around kitchen tables, holiday celebrations, and quiet evenings together.
Today, Grandpa Merle's daughter, Merlene, along with her children, Johnny and Tara, are proud to carry on his legacy through Cracked Candies. Every batch is handcrafted using the same time-honored recipes and the same love that Grandpa poured into every piece he made.
